Creative Math: Real-life Mathematics
Creative Math class and Digital SAT class on Zoom. Plus Physics and Chemistry classes on request
Operating as usual
Screenshots from my classes are posted almost daily on my WhatsApp status of number +971 55 3533099. To see my WhatsApp status I need to have you on my contacts, please text me on the mentioned number for details of my work with teaching teens and tweens Creative Math and math from school.
If you are my current student or I have taught you well before, or are the parent of one of my students and are grateful for the work I am doing please consider giving more hope to children close to you.
For me, MoHOPE is Peace on Earth and Humanity on Mars. As an individual with limited access to immediate power to create massive impact, I have used and am using my time and energy to instill enthusiasm in young people to do good and be better as themselves. For me this translates to being patient, resolving disputes amicably and collaborating in the midst on competition. Furthermore, having a vision to strive for the stars, whatever that means to you, is a drive I try to kindle in the youth I work with.
I believe the world is changing very fast. Many things that seem impossible, only need the hope of possibility to translate into a child's right to have more hope for the dreams of tomorrow. MoHOPE for dreams of the morrow
Please text me on my personal WhatsApp at +971 55 3533099 or my business WhatsApp +971 4 5232421 to get more information about my work or how I can contribute to your child's progress this summer
The next SAT is on May 8th but after that the summer is a great time to prepare and get the SAT out of the way.
Eventhough many universities are waiving the requirement of standerdized tests, having a great SAT score is like money in the bank! You can use it when required.

On one occasion today we discussed how DIVIDING (by a number between 0 and 1) can INCREASE the value of the original number.
Simple (and critical) ideas such as this are often overlooked conventionally or not given enough attention to in routine coursework
We ended trigonometric identities class today with my student saying, "...that was fun to do." Considering we started class with her saying it was tough, I'm thrilled!...and proud of you dear student
Equation of a line, double angle trigonometry, quadratic equations by factorizing, intercepts, Pythagoras theorem, GCSE past papers, IB-MYP exam prep, Creative Math about resultant vectors and applications in Google Maps/GPS.....all before today's full moon shining
Addition-subtraction word problems, Venn diagrams and Trigonometry.
After today's math I'm inclined to ask, "What makes Mathematics?" It can't be just numbers, not even analysis alone.
Mathematics to me, is from a touch of almost inexplicable creativity.
Whatever mathematics is meant to be, I'm sure, is partly through you and me
Creative Math Certificate Course (for teens and tweens)
Your child can learn the connection of what is learnt in school math to real-life mathematics.
Similarities of triangles and shapes will be linked to spacecraft prototypes, ratios and proportions will be linked to musical frequencies in pianos and a lot will be discussed about rational and irrational numbers and situations.
The course has flexible timings and small groups. All classes are online on Zoom. Course fees is AED 2000 for 20 hours (10 classes).

On Feb 14, 2021 , for the love of math
Creative Math: Module "Similarities and Spacecrafts" from earlier today. I came up with the name after class :)
While teaching similarities in shapes examples of spacecrafts kept coming to mind. We discussed how a spacecraft is made from several parts and mathematically similar prototypes, how area scale factor is used to find amount of material coating required for the spacecraft to protect it from space radiation and volume scale factor is used to find out how much composite material is required to build the part.
After a day of good classes, I write giving thanks to my students and their parents for giving me the opportunity to contribute
Module Special Relativity (Creative Math) a 3 min video clip from class today
Angles in Parallel lines from class today
Yesterday was not today and tomorrow will be another day. In the formula for distance and area of surfaces are the trickled touches of my day today
A lot today, happily.
Happy studying
Today was a lot of geometry.
We did 2D, 3D,
even trigonometry,
some IB criterion D,
questions from GCSE that also appear in IGCSE.
An ICSE student is also scheduled from today, day three.
Remind's me of last night's American chop suey.
Mind you me, my classes have clear framework,
but open ended is where progress needs to be
Call or text 0553533099 to talk with me.
I recommend individual classes (AED 200/hr) with the option of 30 min sessions. Let your child attend my class and find the yet known. I call my work Creative Math. Call me at 0553533099 or click to text my Business WhatsApp +97145232421 for a pilot/trial session online on Zoom
Creative Math with Euler's number. Pronounced as "Oiler's" number. Historic story of discovery, a thought experiment, some WoW facts, applications such as continuous compounding and study of logarithms. That's what this class was about
Before the next class, incomplete glimpses of earlier today.
Dear Students,
"My hopes and dreams, travel with you ....."
MoHOPE for dreams of Morrow
In today's Creative Math, Pi Module, we started with irrational, then went to recurring decimal to fraction, then to history and applications of Pi, then to astrophysics, where a Year 7 student told me she wants to learn Special Relativity. That's planned for her next class combined with exponents and basic surds.
With Creative Math, the classes are open ended with a framework. Group classes (2 or 3 students) are offered at AED 100/hr, online on Zoom.
Text my Business WhatsApp at +97145232421 to get a complementary pilot/trial session and to talk with me about Creative Math
Surds and strategies, Pythagoras problems -magical math for today
Sine rule, cosine rule and some counter-intuitive techniques
30.01.2021 on Thirty, one, twenty twenty-one. Before tomorrow 31.
Review log is critical. I'm not posting this so that you get more than your classmate, I'm posting it for you to come to terms with the idea of review, to check your work, and to open the door to the possibility of doing better than you ever have on a test or exam.
2 demo classes today, I think and feel they went well.
You are requested to watch this video testimonial for Creative Math.
In my online Zoom classes, I connect school math to real-life mathematics and teach tricks and techniques not given attention to in school.
Some of these techniques are intuitive and some are counter-intuitive.
The online group classes (2 or 3 students) require an investment of AED 100/hr by parents.
The goal is not only good school grades but also enthusiasm to think of mathematics as an art form: Creative Math
Click to text on my Business WhatsApp +97145232421 for a 20 min demo class
In today's 3 classes we discussed asymptotes, area of surfaces and enlargement of 2D shapes.
There were special parts of congratulations, hopes and techniques.
I want to say, "The part I liked most was....", to finish with a culminating statement. It doesn't really work like that. Humankind's tendency towards superlatives is often a limitation.
It was good day.
Swami Vivekanand and Abhishek Gurumadhva talking about Mathematics and Spirituality based on Creative Math: Real-life Mathematics
A good class happened today too, among other good things
This testimonial for Creative Math shows how a student can improve holistically with Creative Math by the connection drawn between mathematics, real-life and creativity.
A connection is drawn between what is learnt is school such as linear equations, ratios etc and real-life concepts such as straight lines and dimensions, frequencies and music etc
Group classes on Zoom (2 or 3 students) are offered for Creative Math at AED 100/hr.
Click to text on Business WhatsApp (+97145232421) and schedule a complementary 20 min demo class on Zoom
Simple is easy only when the bridges are made, processes explained, reasons found clearly for why it is so.
The elusive obvious was found in class today and bridges made clear and clamped for some concepts encountered so often that they are overlooked. (Such as 4 divided by 4 over x)
Testimonial (Creative Math) Thank you to my student Abhishek.com
I know that all my students are very good. The attitude I encouge them to have though, is to be better. In conversation with one of my students today in class, I explained a version of the review technique.
Getting better in any way, including getting better grades, I believe, isn't primarily about competition. It is about doing wholeheartedly. Not just being your best version, because sometimes we have many versions, but also doing small important acts that are sometimes very difficult - like checking your work.
When a child learns ratios in school it doesn't make much sense as to why they are learning this. But when I explain it as ratio of frequencies of sound 3:2, which is the beginning of twinkle twinkle little stars, there is a sense of wonder.
When linear equations are learnt stand alone, kids ask, "Where is this applied in real life?" The truth is a linear equations are the equations of straight lines and this can be extended to dimensions.

Even if many of these concepts haven't yet been introduced to your child in school, I will build a foundation for your child to get ahead. Call Abhishek at 0553533099 for a discussion
Saturday was super good.
In one discussion, I also go into explaining why radians are the international standard for measuring angles and not degrees, how radians are irrational, why they are measured in terms of pi and appear dimensionless.
It's nice to know a student found an exam easy.
It's nice to understand irrationality.
It's good to do wholeheartedly.
It's good to learn math meaningfully.
Text me to talk.
Call me for conversation.
Of the 10 screenshots I've posted from 3 classes today, none, I believe can capture the rapture I feel when I give a good class. Eventhough parents pay me good money to teach their kids and I'm certain the students benefit immensely, I'm not sure if it's the students that benefit more or me.
I love teaching. Sometimes it seems that it's meant to be.
