I am profoundly grateful to have crossed paths with the Filipino Academy. Their provision of a flexible schedule has proven to be a lifeline for a diligent working student like myself. The Fiipino Academy has bridged the gap between my aspirations and reality, marking the inception of a new journey filled with fresh goals and unlocked achievements.

First and foremost, I would like to thank our Almighty God for His never-ending grace, mercy, and provision during the toughest times of my life.

Secondly, I could never be prouder to say that I made the right decision on stepping into the Filipino Academy-Sharjah as I plan on pursuing my dreams as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

First and foremost, I would like to Thank God for giving me this opportunity. Nung una ako po nagdalawang isip to enroll in the academy, hindi po dahil sa hindi ko kaya but because I'm not ready to face a new challenge that came along the way. I was a lady driver for almost 10 years here in UAE and never expect na papasokin ko po ang pagiging healthcare until I have this friend who encourages me to enroll and join the academy, una nagaalinlangan pa po ako but somedays passby, I realize wala naman mawawala sa akin bugkos it will add to my knowledge and experience as well. Then I enrolled in Filipino Academy – Sharjah Branch where I met fellows kababayan who dreamed of being a Healthcare someday, I really enjoyed being in class because every day we learned different things through our Instructor Ms. Arra Czarina Sta. Maria cares and shares her experiences with us and treats us not as her students but as a colleague in this field. Her teachings and learning gave us all the courage to finish the course.

I want also to give thanks to the faculty and staff of FA – Sharjah who assisted us from enrolment until we finished our course. For now, we still have OJT to fill in but with the bright guidance and assistance of the school, I know Batch 3 of HCS can do it because we are in the right hands which is the FILIPINO ACADEMY. To be a nurse is what I've always wanted since childhood. However, due to some financial incapacities my family was facing at that time, I wasn't able to pursue that dream.

Then gladly, after spending 8 years in the Automobile industry, I heard about Filipino Academy through a good friend. I attended the orientation day for the CNA course, and without second thoughts, I got myself enrolled as a Certified Nursing Assistant student.

I've learned a lot during my journey of this course. It molds me to become a better version of myself and helps me realize my purpose in life. I want to thank God the Almighty, my family, and my children, who are my inspiration and reason for all this. My instructor, Miss Monica Alday, for the knowledge and experiences you've shared with us, my solid batchmates, I am happy and proud of the friendship that we have built along the way, and my work colleagues for the continued encouragement.
